Baby Shower # 1- Schmidt Family

This past weekend I got to attend, be the Guest of Honor at my first baby shower. This shower was hosted by my wonderful sister-in-law Laura, my good friend Stephanie, and some close family friends MaryAnn and Sharon.

It was such a great way to welcome Carter into the family/world! He is so lucky to have not only so many great family members on his Schmidt side, but so many close family friends who mean so much to not only my in-laws but to us as well. He received so many of his big items that I am not sure what else he is going to need!!!! He got a lot of cute little blankets and outfits, and just so much stuff!! He is one lucky little guy to have so many people want to spoil him with such great gifts! Michaels parents bought us our bedding from Pottery Barn Kids and it is so cute in person!!! I love love love love it!!! I know Carter will too!

I immediately wanted to get home and put everything away and we did for the most part, but we had to wait and get the mattress out of my car before we could put the bedding on. But, don't you worry Monday night it was washed and on the bed! It looks so cute!!!!I cannot wait to bring Carter home to all of his new things! Thank you to not only my wonderful hostesses. but to everyone who came to the shower. It meant so much to Michael and I knowing that we have so much love and support as we begin this amazing journey with Carter.
