We started off our holiday season with our little elf, Buddy joining us for a very special breakfast. Buddy came with letters in hand for both the boys and some special "Snowman" donut sticks. He delivered a very special Elf plate and matching cup for Carter, and boy was Carter excited!
He came straight from the North Pole from Santa to watch Carter and Mason. Our Elf, Buddy, spent his days watching Mason and Carter play and kept them from getting into any trouble, and his nights flying to the North Pole to report to Santa about how well the boys were behaving! He was a little life saver over the past month, as anytime Carter decided he wanted to get into trouble or throw tantrums, we would tell him that Buddy was going to go to the North Pole and tell Santa. That was all we needed (most of the time) to get him to be good. We sure wish he would stay year round, for that very reason!
Buddy got in a little it of trouble while he was here, playing with Carters toys, wrapping the tree with toilet paper, trying to bake cookies with the flour and chocolate chips, and even taking a bubble bath with a bunch of marshmallows. It was a fun little month and we enjoyed Buddy being here, and boy was Carter sad to see him go. We look forward to his trip to our house next year.
